Vienna Metro Kiosk - Milestone

Substantial completion has been achieved on its Vienna Metro Kiosk project. This project involved design-development, custom fabrication, and site erection of the prototype entrance kiosk intended for future deployments across the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's (WMATA) metro system. In collaboration with WMATA, Allied Metal Group coordinated the development of the new design and systems specifications, including those for the integrated electrical and HVAC systems, of the new prototype kiosk from WMATA conceptual design materials. The finished prototype unit was fabricated in electrostatically-coated aluminum, concrete-bonded gauge metal, and radiused glass panels and designed with an interfacing electrical system centered around a 15 KVA transformer connected to high-voltage WMATA-provided electrical mains.
