American University Hughes Hall Renovation

Allied Metal Group reaches final completion and project turnover to the owner's agency of the American University, Hughes Hall Renovation project, in Washington, D.C. This project involved custom design and fabrication of stainless steel components, dimensioned to structural thicknesses, for deployment in the building's lobby and reception space. Framing members for this project consisted of 1/4" thick 304 stainless alloy structural plate, precision-designed to receive architectural glass infill panels and interface to existing construction, with surface preparation including industrial #4 polish and surface preparation.
